unframed and unmounted pieces purchased from the flip bin
This painting is acrylic paint on synthetic (Yupo) paper, made of extruded
polypropylene. The painting is attached in the four corners to the foam core
board using double-sided (ATG) sticky tape. For removal of the painting from
the board, either, use a dull object like a butter knife and slip between the board
and painting, lift corner without creasing the painting. A strong bond results from the
tape on the board, some of the backing paper from the foam core will come up with
the tape, sticking to the back of the painting. To help remove the paper and tape from
the back of the painting, I use Windex or dirtex on the tape. If you decide to permanently mount the painting to Gator Board (please see definition on right) or other surface use a cold press system as the paper is plastic, do not use spray adhesive, it expands the paper.
